Police apprehended a man from Kippens in connection with a theft at a liquor store in Stephenville. Officers placed the suspect under arrest and found a knife on him when he was patted down during the arrest.

The Kippens resident is now facing over 40 outstanding charges in addition to additional counts stemming from the liquor store theft in Stephenville. Officers found the knife on the suspect while making the arrest. The man faces court appearances for the alleged incident along with his more than 40 pre-existing outstanding charges.
