The PGA Tour noted he wagered on championship matches. His betting happened on several Tour events throughout the season. The suspension takes effect immediately and runs six months. The ban is six months.
ESPN and Golf Channel announced the news on Wednesday. Golf Digest and Golfweek published the story later that day. The league said his bets involved Tour competitions. He cannot play or collect prize money during the suspension.
