Nathan Buckley has pulled out of the North Melbourne head coaching position, which will be filled by Jaymie Graham after he crossed from Fremantle. Buckley's exit from that race has drawn interest from two other clubs.

Brisbane is now connected with Buckley as a candidate to replace outgoing coach Chris Fagan. Carlton has also been tied to the former Collingwood premiership coach, with reports describing him as a possible target during the trade period.
