Bandai Namco unveiled the Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO and the RG Project vision on July 23, 2026. Filmmaker Kenji Kamiyama will take the helm for the upcoming anime, planned to premiere in the following year. The project creates a fresh Gundam universe, completely separate from prior canon. The XARX-ZERO is connected to the forthcoming Gundam Rogue Orbit initiative. Kamiyama is working to construct a original timeline for the franchise.
