Users worldwide report problems with Instagram ranging from login failures and slow feed loading. Downdetector data shows a rapid rise in outage reports over the past hours. Both the app and website appear affected at once. Meta has still not release a statement about this outage as of 22 July 2026. Cases reported have been noted across its parent platform, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
