The Scottish Government has committed a £14m funding package towards the refurbishment of Glasgow's People's Palace and Winter Gardens. Total expenses for the museum work now exceed £50m. The historic site to re-open the Glasgow museum and gardens has remained closed for an extended time.
BBC and The Herald reported the venue is scheduled to stay shut until 2029.
