The BC Conservatives have released their election platform focusing on balancing the provincial budget. The party plans to reduce public spending and increase taxes to fix a growing fiscal deficit. The platform also includes proposals to strengthen law and order with more police funding and justice system improvements. Some analysts call this a 'lose-lose situation' because both the NDP and Conservative campaigns rely on budget 'wishful thinking'.
